The 3500 BC is inspired by an early desk clock from a more simple time.  The name pays tribute to the people of ancient Egypt who began keeping time with sundials around the year 3500 BC starting the never-ending evolution of tracking time that continues today.

The 3500 BC is Handcrafted in the USA from a solid block of American Black Cherry wood giving it a strong feel and weight for a desk clock of it's size.  This clock makes the perfect gift for someone special who appreciates fine timepieces with a true sense of history.  Celebrate the legacy Benjamin Banneker established more than 260 years ago when he constructed the first clock in America from parts he carved entirely of wood.  A portion of all proceeds from the sales of Benjamin Banneker Clocks will go towards launching The Chicago Project.
